COMETITION RULES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis from invited customers.

2. If a registered player is unable to attend on the day, a substitute player  may attend in their place.

3. Non golf club members (social players, without a handicap) will be asked to nominate a handicap between 0 and 18 if a regular social golfer, or be allocated a maximum handicap of 18 for Men, and 27 for ladies for non-golfers.

4. Handicap players will need to supply their applicable Golf Australia (GA) daily handicap (no course slope ratings) on the day of the event. Any current or past PGA members, past professionals or any golfer that has participated in an official PGA event (excluding where an amateur has played in a PRO AM event) will be required to play off scratch (unless holding a current and valid GA handicap).

5. The handicap of the team is calculated by combining the handicaps of the 4 players and dividing by 8 to arrive at the team handicap. This is then subtracted from the Gross Score of the Team to arrive at the Net Score.  Net Scores will be used to determine the winner.  If there is a tie the Course Marshall will determine the winner.

6. All competition winners must be at dinner presentation to collect all prizes. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited, excluding 1st place winning Ambrose pair.  All competitions and prizes are subject to change or removal without notice.

7. Groups of four players (4 person Ambrose) work as a team. Each player hits off the tee, the best shot of the two players is selected and the other player picks up their ball and places it alongside (within 1 club length) the best ball. Each team member then hits a second shot from the same spot. The best shot is again selected. This continues until the ball is in the hole. Each player must have a minimum of 3 recorded tee shots.

8. On the putting green the best ball is marked and the other ball is played from this position. One score is thus recorded for each 2 person team on each hole.1 scorecard is kept for each 4 person team.

9. If an office registers only 1 player, that player may be teamed with an individual from another office.  If there are uneven numbers on the day, an individual may be required to play on their own and may not be able to qualify for any prizes.  This will be at the sole discretion and direction of realestate.com.au and the Course Marshall.

10. Signing for a lower Ambrose score, for a higher handicap, for not complying with the six tee shot rule; or not complying with any of the Rules of Golf (including any local course rules) or directions from the Course Marshall may result in disqualification.  This will be at the sole discretion of the Course Marshall.

11. The Course Marshall at each event will be responsible for collating the results from all score cards, checking handicaps and determining the winning and second place teams. The Course Marshall's decision will be final and no disputes will be entered into. To ensure fairness of play and an enjoyable experience, The Rose Cup Charity Golf Day will maintain the highest levels of integrity by strict adherence to the Rules of Golf, and various policies set in place by each of the participating golf courses.

12. The Rose Cup Charity Golf Day reserves the right to cancel or alter the event dates, venues and rules regarding the management and conduct of all events at any time including the Championship Final. If an event is cancelled (for example, by the Course Marshall due to thunderstorms) The Rose Cup Charity Golf Day managemement team and the Course Marshall may determine in their discretion if winners will be announced and invitations issued for the Championship Final.
