HOW WILL A FOUR PLAYER AMBROSE WORK?

• Groups of two players (4 person Ambrose) work as a team.

• Each player hits off the tee, the best shot of the two players is selected and the other player picks up their ball and places it alongside (within 1 club length) the best ball. Each team member then hits a second shot from the same spot.

• The best shot is again selected. This continues until the ball is in the hole.

• On the putting green the best ball is marked and the other ball is played from this position. One score is thus recorded for each 4 person team on each hole.

• Each player must have a minimum of 3 recorded tee shots, per 18 hole round. Should you complete the round without both players having hit at least six selected tee shots, your team will be disqualified.
